Well, a week before CJ's first birthday and his doctor's appointment to get his chicken pox vaccine, he gets the chicken pox! The blisters are popping out all over but he is just now getting a little itchy and cranky. I took these pictures today of him but we find new spots every minute it seems. For those of you who don't know, Van had shingles two weeks ago and we thought we were careful not to let him even touch CJ but it doesn't look like it mattered. Pray for us!

Ah, you wax poetic! So sorry to hear the little guy is itchy! Hava all the other kids had them? I think I remember that they have. Can Van get the shingles vaccine since he has already had them? Aunt Maxine
I know! The English teacher in me must come out! Morgan had them when she was this age too...right before she was to get the vaccine. Grace and Stella have had the shot but I believe they can still get a mild case of them. I don't know if Van can get the shingles shot or not. He will be asking when he goes to the doctor in August for his physical!
